Chen-Zhi Yuan is an associate professor at Wuhan Institute of Technology specializing in quantum optics and quantum information. His research focuses on telecommunication-band quantum light sources, including high-performance entangled photon generation, frequency-multiplexed heralded single-photon sources, long-distance quantum teleportation, and coherent interactions between lasers and rare-earth-ion–doped optical fibers. He has extensive experience spanning academia and postdoctoral research, with training from leading institutions in China. His publication record covers top international journals and conferences, addressing quantum entanglement generation, quantum communication coexisting with classical fiber networks, multiplexed single-photon technologies, and nonlinear and integrated quantum photonics.
